My LCD TV screen just went white but the sound works, how do I get the picture back?
September 24th, 2012 by admin Leave a reply »I have a Panasonic TC-15LV1 15″ LCD TV – and it has worked like a champ since I purchased it in 2002. Just the other day I had turned the TV on and all was well, I went into another room for about 15 minutes and upon my return, the screen had turned completely white! The sound was still working fine but the picture was gone! I turned the TV on and off, turned the cable box on and off, tried to change the input, tried to use the remote – still white. First of all, I would like to know what happened and secondly, can this be repaired or do I have to replace this whole thing. That being said, having an LCD TV for 9 years is pretty darn good! I hope someone can help me figure this out.

That can be because of
1. failed t-con board
2. not getting the 12vdc or signals from the main board
Check the fuse on the T-CON board first, T-CON board is mounted under the metal shield
If that does not work and you have electronics knowledge you can try to do it like this:

but it REALLY needs technical knowledge. So if you are not sure how to do these things dont do anything and have repairman to do it.
